Denver Public Works - seeking volunteers

Hello Jasmine Community! Are you or people in your community looking for a way to get outdoors and give back to the environment? We need volunteers to help us cleanup stretches of West Colfax before runners hit the streets for the Colfax Marathon! Our Great Colfax Cleanup is Saturday, May 19 from 9:00am to 12:30pm. (The day before the marathon.) All cleanup supplies and refreshments will be provided. We will also be holding a friendly competition this year for the “strangest piece of litter”, as well as a raffle for prizes! Folks can register to volunteer on our website, denvergov.org/kdb. After getting registered, volunteers will meet on May 19 at 9:00am at Colfax Elementary School (1526 Tennyson St.) The volunteer check-in tent will be located at the corner of Colfax & Tennyson.
