Volunteer Opportunity with Denver Urban Gardens

Hello Jasmine Place Community!

I am reaching out regarding the Denver Urban Gardens volunteer program School Garden Cultivators. The Cultivator program is a six-week "train the trainer" course designed to educate community volunteers in all aspects of working with youth to foster gardening skills and to promote healthy eating. Through the Cultivator program, volunteers will work with students, schools and local communities to cultivate gardeners, grow food and nourish community. Volunteers accomplish this by providing support to the Garden to CafeteriaYouth Farm Stand and/or to the DUG in-classroom nutrition education program, Healthy Seedlings, throughout diverse communities in Metro Denver. To learn more about this program and to apply, please visit: www.dug.org/school-garden-cultivator/

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Thanks so much,
