You’re invited
to participate in the city’s planning process for the East Area and provide
input on recommendations for the following throughout the South Park Hill,
Hale, Montclair and East Colfax neighborhoods:
· Design
quality and neighborhood character
· Small,
local businesses
· Affordable
housing
· Sidewalks,
pedestrian crossings, and bike lanes
· Parks,
trees, and water quality features
·
Healthy food options
The East Area
Workshop will take place Tuesday, May 14, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the 9th
& Colorado Development office, 1000 N. Colorado Blvd., Denver. At this
meeting, residents can provide general input and participate in breakout group
discussions on specific issues. Please use the attached social media and
website messages to promote this meeting with your neighbors.
Input gathered
at this meeting will be used in developing the East Area draft plan. This draft
plan will be presented at an open house this summer.
