Registration Begins Now for Electronics Recycling
Event in April
Must Register to Participate
DENVER – Here's another way to be "green" today…recycle!
Denver residents can register now to take their unwanted electronics to
Denver’s Electronics Recycling Collection Event on Saturday, April 15 at
Metech Recycling (500 W. 53rd Place). Registration is required to
participate - Denver residents can make an appointment online at https://april15-ecycle.eventbrite.com.
The event offers a significantly discounted recycling fee
of $5 per vehicle or $10 for each television or monitor. Typically, the cost
to recycle a television or monitor can range from $25 to $75 per unit!

Items Accepted For Recycling:
Televisions (no size limit), monitors, CPUs, laptops, printers, scanners,
faxes, keyboards, mice, stereos, external hard drives & storage devices,
cellular phones, telephones, DVRs, VCRs, digital cameras, video recorders,
MP3 players, video game consoles, wires, cables, rechargeable batteries, and
some small appliances such as microwaves.

Items NOT Accepted: Air conditioners, refrigerators,
large appliances, coffee makers, vacuums, blenders, toasters, smoke or carbon
monoxide detectors, pressurized canisters, oil or gas devices, fluorescent
bulbs, neon signs, car batteries, small button batteries or household
batteries (rechargeable batteries are okay).
Please note, commercial or business recycling will not be
allowed, and Denver residents must show proof of residency to participate.
Denver residents who are not able to attend this event can
call 311 or visit denvergov.org/ecycle,
to request an E-Cycle coupon and receive more information about other
electronic recycling drop-off options. In the state of Colorado, disposing
electronics in landfills is illegal.
