Celebrate the Spirit of the Mile High City with Denver Days Events and Service Projects

Mayor Michael B. Hancock envisioned a city where residents are more connected to the communities they call home. Five years ago, he turned that vision into reality by creating Denver Days, a program during the first week of August that encourages neighbors to get to know each other through picnics, block parties and service projects.

This year's Denver Days events will be from August 3-11. Events that have a "neighbor-to-neighbor" focus and service projects that have a neighborhood-improvement focus will receive planning support, waived park permit fees (for picnics), free street barricades (for block parties) and free advertising on the Denver Days website and Facebook page.

Let this year be the year that your neighborhood participates. More information can be found online or by emailing denverdays@denvergov.org.
